24、Zibo city in Shandong province has stormed the Internet since late February for its local barbecue. In March, the small city received about 4.8 million tourists. It is certainly not the only city that offers barbecue, or even the most famous one, but its seemingly sudden fame was steps in the making.

Zhou Mao song, president of the Zibo Tourism Promotion Association said the popularity started from the crowd-gathering effect of cultural and tourism activities including a music festival.
