1、 Da Mao(大毛) and Er Shun(二顺) are two giant pandas (大熊猫) that have made the Calgary Zoo in Canada their home since 2018. They were expected to live there until 2023. 64. However, they will come back to China earlier than expected.
The zoo announced the news on May 12, saying the decision was made due to COVID-19 travel restrictions (限制). The restrictions have made it more challenging for the zoo to get bamboo for the pandas to eat, Global News reported.
65. According to the zoo, 99 percent of a giant panda's diet (饮食) is made up of fresh bamboo. Each adult giant panda eats around 40 kg of bamboo a day.
“We believe the best and safest place for Er Shun and Da Mao to be during these challenging times is where bamboo is easy to get,” said Dr CI e ment Lanthier, president of the Calgary Zoo.

Second, I think English is a foreign language. I should learn it well in the following ways: Listen to the teacher carefully, speak bravely, read aloud and have a good vocabulary. Then practice again and again, never be tired. And I also have a good habit: Asking whenever (不论何时) I have a question. I must make it clear by asking our English teacher. How happy I am when I understand!

25、 Zhang Dingyu, the director of Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, leads over 600 doctors and nurses fighting against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, which has caused hundreds of deaths in central Hubei Province. As Zhang led over 600 doctors and nurses fighting the disease, his strange way of walking shocked his colleagues. He finally admitted that he had fallen ill with ALS(渐冻症)since October 2018 after constant researches. ALS is a disease that gradually blocks the connection between brain and body. People with ALS become partially paralyzed(瘫痪的)leading to respiratory(呼吸系统的)failure. While working with handicapped(瘸的)legs, his wife was confirmed to get infected with the virus after working in another hospital. The bad news brought him to his knees, and he cried for the first time after the virus broke out. Zhang could only find time to visit his wife until three days after she was sent to hospital. Even then he could only stay there for 30 minutes. Fortunately, the good news came that his wife had recovered ten days after treatment.

26、A poor boy once went to a ragged (破旧的) school, where his face was well washed. When he returned home, the neighbors looked at him in surprise.
They said, “That looks like Tom Rogers, and yet it can’t be, for he is so clean.” After a while, his mother looked at him, seeing that his face was so clean. She thought that her own face was dirty, and she washed it at once. The father soon came home from his work, seeing his wife and his son so clean, he thought that his face was dirty, and so he followed their example.
Father, mother and son being clean, the mother began to think that the room looked dirty, so she went down on her knees to scrub (擦洗) the floor clean. A woman lived next door. Seeing so great a change in her neighbors, she thought that her face and her room were very dirty; so she, too, quickly set about cleaning them.
This story shows how two houses and their families were made tidy and comfortable, simply by the example of the clean face of one ragged school boy. Children, as well as grow-up people, should always set a good example. We never know how much good may be done in that way, nor can we tell how much harm results from a bad example.

Coconut Island is a beautiful island with of course, coconut palms(椰子树), golden beaches and clear blue sea. I'm sorry, I made a there. Coconut Island was a beautiful island. There are still coconut palms, golden beaches and clear blue sea but not like before. So, what happened?
Well, I have a friend who was here five years ago. Her photo album is full of wonderful pictures of empty beaches. Also she has pictures of small. wooden bungalows(小屋) on the beach. No need to book she said, just and you have the place to yourself - very basic. cheap, quiet and peaceful.
Not anymore! The beach is empty - it's crowded all day! There is music from the cafes. children are shouting and screaming, and the hotels are very expensive. Most of the hotels are full of holidaymakers who booked their trip months ago. I'm lucky to have a small room at the back of one hotel, and it's still expensive.
But perhaps this is ? Not only are the roads better but there is also a new medical clinic. The local kids now speak English 'Mister. mister. you want t-shirt?' and there are many new businesses opening all the time. I see an old woman trying to cross the road from her house to the shops. It's no longer a small, quiet road but a large and very busy one. She looks nervous and waits for someone to walk with her. The children no longer ride bicycles but race around the island on motorbikes. It's not so either - my friend stayed in a bungalow on the beach that had no lock. Now the hotel room says it's a good idea to put things in the safe box.
