It's also notable for its reliance on green energy sources. In fact, 90% of its energy is created by renewable sources, such as wind and hydro. It is also one of the world's most biodiverse countries—home to half a million species.

27、The reason why women love to spend hours in shops while men prefer to be in and out of the high street in minutes can trace back(追溯) to their hunter-gathering past, find scientists.
While women spent their days gathering food, often with children, men were hunters who made plans about how to catch and kill their prey (猎物). These two ways of getting food in the past show how we shop in modern times, the study believes.
Women would spend hours trying to find the right things, because they had in the past spent ages trying to find the best quality and health-giving food. Men, on the other hand, decided in advance what animal they wanted to kill and then went looking for it. Once it was found and killed, they returned home.
Daniel Kruger, professor of the University of Michigan, said the study could be the answer to why there are a lot of collisions when couples go shopping together. He said it could also help couples to avoid fights in the shops if they understood the reasons why each sex had different ways of deciding on the perfect present.
“In modern times, women are much more likely than men to know when a specific type of item will go on sale. Women also spend much more time choosing the perfect color and texture.”
Professor Kruger said his study was important because if men and women understood each other’s shopping habits they could avoid arguments while shopping.
【1】What has decided the different shopping habits of men and women?

I advise you not to book with this company. I booked a trip to Switzerland and it was called off by the company. They would not pay back the insurance(保险)we took out to protect the trip. It is difficult to get in touch with the company when you have a problem. They don’t answer emails.

The tour (London to Rome)was acceptable overall . Below are the Pros and Cons(利与弊) . Pros
1. A comfortable bus that was not too crowded
2. The breakfast hotels provided was good
Cons
The biggest complaint(不满)is that the hotels provided were always a long way from the city center. We were put in a hotel that was an hour out of London(with traffic). The same thing happened at every visited city—VERY disappointing.

Would highly recommend TourRadar! I myself, along with two lady friends, have just enjoyed a very good 5-night private tour of Romania. Our tour guide Vlad was wonderful in every way. We were very lucky to be the only 3 passengers in a large and comfortable bus. The places we visited were just impressive. Hotels were so well-located and comfortable. We enjoy this tour. It’s well worth the cost.

29、Baseball was always where my heart lay. However, my father did not care for baseball. Two sports he enjoyed were golfing and fishing, neither of which I considered a real sport. He didn’t talk much and he wasn’t good at expressing himself. Frankly, I wasn’t sure he cared about me. In a way, my father was like a familiar stranger I saw every day.
One day, watching the play on television made me want a glove of my own. To my surprise, my father said he wanted one, too. We bought two gloves, and that evening, he suggested we go out to the courtyard and throw the ball around. I’d already practiced catching and throwing at school, but I could tell this was the first time for my father, because every time he caught the ball, it landed directly in his palm. If you’ve ever caught a ball with a baseball glove, you know how much this hurts.
But my father caught ball after ball this way. Slap! Slap! He winced (龇牙咧嘴). After about five minutes, I told him I’d had enough. It wasn’t out of mercy, but for my own self-interest. Neighborhood kids were watching and would no doubt laugh at me later for having an old man who didn’t know how to properly catch a baseball. When my father took the glove off, his palm was red and swollen.
Dad, who passed away 11 years ago, never told me he loved me. But that sound of the baseball landing in his hand over and over again — it spoke its own tender language, though at the time, all I felt was shame.
