23、A fable is a kind of story that usually has animals in it that can talk. These types of stories are told to teach a moral. Some people think that fables started with Aesop. They also think Aesop is the writer of a popular collection of fables, now called Aesop’s Fables.

People do not know much about Aesop. Some people say that Aesop was born in about the year 620 BCE in Greece, but no one really knows where he was born. People usually use mouth and also some body language to talk with each other. When we have good news, we want to talk about it with our good friends and when something bad happens, we make it known to others soon.
